just downloaded a movie from bit torrent can't get the movie to play in any of the players i have ? hoping i could get some tips

Perhaps codec issue. Try downloading the klite codec pack, see if it helps. Check our download page for it.

Open it with G-Spot, which will tell you what codecs were used to encode the movie.

If its an SVCD then convert it to VCD with VCDgear.Should work a charm.

Because,my dumb friend

,most DVD players will not play SVCD's.
As most WILL play VCD's,it is better to convert them.
