Thread: Seedbox, rar files

  1. #1
I have a seedbox and ftp access.

Is it possible to extract rar files on the seedbox using for example total commander or any other program? I would be helpful with bmtv..

I'm using a dos version of RAR (you can goole for it: RAR 3.20).
You can upload it to your seedbox and open the RARed files in a command prompt, something like this:

    Code:
    rar x file.rar

If linux u can use the unrar -e option (not sure if all servers would come equipped with it but on all the seedboxes I have owned, that command works)

if you have ftp access to the server, put the dos version of rar on it and use the raw commands to unrar. its very easy!
