ow do i decras the size of a movie file like the matrix reloaded which is 712mb i wnt it 2 be 500 or so is there a way i can lower the file size by keeping the qual good a nd the audio lowerd

why would u want to lower the filesize? if it fits on a cd then the size if perfect

I suppose you can use an avi splitter and break it up into two parts, but If I prefer my movies in one large file.

virtualdub should be able to do ti, but you wouldnt get any major changes in size by lowering the audio quality
