Silverccrow doesnt know ANYTHING about videogames, hr only plays CS and he has never even tried DOOM, now How can you DOOM SUX if you have never try it?

I think half life is still awsome...... but anyways silvercrow is obviously is newb to games and I think you guys are forgeting about Half life 2 I thought it would be impossible to beat the graphics from doom III but Half life 2's graphics are twice as good!
And judging from the amazing 25 minute video the gameplay is perfect! any real gamers wet dream!

And Morrowind is also a great game! you could play this game for 60 hours and still ask for more any game that keeps you entertained for that long has to be good!

You are right, im looking forward for HL2 more than DOOM3 , i have beaten HL more than 4 times i love HL , i looked at the HL2 video and it looks awesome....

Yes Wolf 3D was first, but Doom was the first really intense first person shooter. It had a more interesting environment, scarier monsters, and great sound effects and music. But I suppose if you didn't experience it first hand when it came out, then it might not seem very impressive by todays standards. At the time it was neat just to be able to explore this huge 3D world. And the rules were simple - if it moves, shoot it. Some of today's games are just too complicated. Maybe I'm getting old, but I can only handle so many buttons.

And as for Quake 1, personally I was disappointed by it. Everything was so... brown. And the weapons and monsters looked so square. 2 and 3 were a little better, but I just can't wait for DOOM 3 (even though I might have to buy a new PC for it ).

accualy go to www.gamespot.com and go see the latest news, doom 3 IS online and it is the best! did u even see the graphics? dude either u blind or u dont know anything about games...its one or the other....the original doom was good but not the best but i still liked it...its fun for a long time....did u even ever take 1 min to download it and 5 to play it? im guessin no so before postin shit like this check ur fuc*in facts...

Sorry about that Silverccrow, I think you have a problem with CS, why don't you go outside those CS servers and watch the whole Picture, I can't believe you think CS is God C'mon HL rules but is no GOD

Doom 3 has great modeling and Lighting by far there will be no game that can touch the Graphical Engine of Doom 3 in the shading and lighting department, while u got HL2 which blew out Doom 3 out of the water for mostly everything else. with its great A.I, physics system, and facial muscles and way better then par graphics but still not quite as good as Doom's 3's modeling. then again ur talking about 2 very diffrent games in Half Life 2 its mission based more complexed while in Doom 3 its str8 all out shoot anything that moves and keep shooting till it doesn't stand up anymore and make it out alive. most of u are just talking out ur asses claiming this and that but not proving it yes HL2 is a better game then Doom 3 in most aspects but Doom 3 does have its advantages over HL2 as well not as many but it does have some.

I think we distracted about this Thread i was just asking where to find the classic DOOM and all of the sudden this "SILVERCCROW" and hes n0ob thinking came and started attacking DOOM just because he never played it, and started that CS bullshit.
SO this is my conclusion

HL2>DOOM3

HL>DOOM

CS just a very good mod, but CS is not GOD

Graphix DOOM3
GAMEPLAY HL2

AND STOP THE BULLSHIT SILVERCCROW!!!!!!
