    Unsure

    Hey everyone.

I have some avi files of different tv shows that I want to host on a personal website. I really don't want to share them massively, I just want it to be like a small tv station so me and my friends can be watching the same episodes of shows at the same time. I might even put a password to keep unwanted attention away.

The question is, is there a way to host avi files that play in a browser. A good example would be like an online tv station that goes through the play list of a few avi files.

I'm not sure how to do this but I know some php so if it takes any coding I'm ready for it (I hope)

convert them into flash flv files. They will stream so much faster, and you can use better quality this way.

A wise man gives advice, but a wiser man learns from it and uses it. Smart people learn from others mistakes. The blessing is on the other side of your tribulation.
