Were you people watching the same movie as me? It was horrible!

No explanation of what it is.
No explanation of where it came from.
No explanation of if it was killed.
The dorky kid holding the camera the entire time was annoying as feck.

Well, it's suppose to be a thriller.

And that's the mystery anyhow...ohohohohohohh....! Besides if you stay 'til the end there's like this voice that supposedly says "It's still alive."

Thrillers are based on anticipation of a secret being revealed of a big conclusion. This movie didn't reveal squat or conclude anything.

I didn't like the movie either. The camera was too clumsy, the monster was strange, etc. I heard they're gonna do a sequel.

Nothing that J.J. Abrams is involved has ever made any sense,I'm surprised that you thought this would be any different.
He is all about style over substance.
I'm just glad that someone else could see that it was borderline crap.
Too many people have been giving it way too much love.
    Paper-thin characters,no plot.
Tell me what exactly good about this movie again?

    I wouldn't go that far.

LOST will hopefully make some sense when its all done.
    Alias was OK.
He wrote the script for Armageddon, Forever Young, Regarding Henry, and Taking Care of Business. All good flicks IMO.

Granted tho', he's done some really shit projects recently.
