    Not a chance.
There is such a thing as too anti-government, and he's it.

We need honest politicians, and I believe Ron Paul is one of them. However, the removal of most governmental agencies and a total end to social programs, that's just stupid. We need reform, not removal.

    Besides,
Ron Paul Opposes Net Neutrality — "Voted NO on establishing "network neutrality" (non-tiered Internet). (Jun 2006)" -- Still, I wonder if this comes as a surprise to most Ron Paul supporters?

My Space is owned by The Scunner Murdoch who always interferes in politics.

Libertarianism is ok in theory but in practice it tends towards letting Corporations simply replace Government with even less accountability. We are where are for a reason.

His idea about going back to the gold standard would destabilize the US economy, may go into recession and would take a long time to get out of. You only get 4 years, doubt he would get re-elected.

Big ideas, but just not doable.

Plus I'm Canadian, I can't vote for him anyways

It is about message that Ron delivers not bout where You live! Why would gold standard would do these things to US economy and it would not, in Your case, harm Canadaīs economy. Or German. Ronīs words deserve deeper thinking then just he is opposed to this or that.
