I'm going to be getting me one of those media player things, because i fed up with my medion divx player not working

Any ideas on a good cheap device

Do you need to play Hi-Def from it?
Do you need it to have wireless cancer?

A sling box is ok.
I use an old XBOX with XBMC...it's sweeeet...you can get em for about £20.

I just need something instead keep burning discs that my very old divx palyer won't play.

I thought of getting one of those divx players with the usb port that'll take a flash drive?

In that case an old haxxed XBOX is win. It will play anything and with a LAN wire to your router, you can just send what you want down the wire. It will play absolutely any video file though and gets covers and info off imdb...It's orsum.
