Hi ILW.

I'm onto NOD32 now, is it completely free??

For NOD32 you must have a password for monthly updates,and is not easy but not very hard to find it.

For NOD32 take the un/pw you find. Go to the ESET site - downloads - commercial (not trial). You'll get un/pw prompt....... But the crack is as SH said month to month.

hi been through norton antivirus 2004 book, i cant find if they allow shared networks to use same package as norton now uses product keys?it allows it in 2003 package but not sure with this one. if any one knows could u pm me the answer please or just reply to this. gonna email them!

Apparently I'm the only one who's using Avast AV. NAV gave me far to many headaches and missed a couple of Trojans and one worm. I use NAV 04 as a back up and Avast freeware version as my mainstay. It's pretty damn nice. Easy to use and takes up little in the way of resources, which is critically important on my test machine which uses an ancient P2-300.

PS Hey DSA, how did you reformat your CPU? You must be realllllly smaaaaart

cuz I can't do that.....just kidding, dude.

As a side note, for getting free subcription updates when your NAV expires, just uninstall and reinstall NAV. I used 02 untill 2 months ago with this trick and a friend is still using it on 03. It dont think it'll work on 04 cuz of the reg code, but I'll know in about 10 more months
