why is 1.6.1 better is really what I am asking and should I switch to that version?
Only reason you would switch if paranoia > new features for you. I personally think there is nothing wrong with the new utorrents, and they give a few nifty features.

Someone invite me to fsc please

it's the only tracker ive seen with that problem :\

and i have another tracker that only accept 1.7.5 i think =[

so, any solutions? that's really dumb, i dont see why this is the only site hwo dosnt accept
Yeah, bittorrent inc. is endorsed. solution: downgrade or get another client (azureus is never blocked).

latest beta are great, lots of new features: disk cache improvements, teredo, greater speeds. Can't wait for the final version.

any tracker avoiding the latest stable release that is widely accepted, is not going to be used by me. This MPAA thing is going too far. So we going to see the rumors start again about MPAA tracking dl's through utorrent? Give me a break guys. This is what happens when kids run trackers, stupid pointless rules that hinder usage.

    Thats my [rhetorical] question
That logic is fallacious because your conclusion is based upon the false premise that people choose clients just because they 'aren't broken.' A two-year-ld could spot this one. You are completely disregarding desired improvements, optimizations, and features that make one client, or one version of a client better than the other.

Did I even have to say this? I guess I did. It is your opinion, fatcat, so just leave it as such.

hey, if fatcat is happy with win95, netscape navigator, and aol 2.5 "cause its not broken", then leave him to his outdated tech. Not like there could be any reason to upgrade software like hacks, vulnerabilities, or memory leaks (to name a few things)...

Yes I know he isn't really using those things, but it makes a good point.

    change tracker man...

even azureus have the function "remove unauthorized torrents" lmao

what shall windows users use?? 2+ years old clients?
Dos6.2 (when MS was not producing drm techs?)
