Also i have seen more people recommand kazaalite then anything. Word of mouth goes somewhere.

But the fact is that those people that switch never run spybot or adware. Which kind of makes kazaalite useless, because they already have the spyware and adware on their computers.

IMO active advertising is very close to spam, and would bring more problems than solutions.

KL++ already has a reputation in the P2P community as being superior to KMD in multiple ways - It&#39;s not like the program&#39;s a secret. Chances are that if they do not know about Kazaa Lite, they&#39;re going to be likely to be asking the same questions again & again anyway.

I hate to sound isolationist about the subject with KMD users but we already have problems new members going on about the same crap every day. When a day goes by without a problem, then maybe going active about it may help. But right now, we have our own problems with members and while that&#39;s still a problem, I don&#39;t think it&#39;s a good idea encouraging when there&#39;s already a lot of publicity for the client.

Don&#39;t forget, it isn&#39;t KMD which is sending out these messages, it&#39;s some deluded little wanker who doesn&#39;t know any better. Far better to ignore them and let them get on with their pathetic misguided lives. Replying to them makes them think they&#39;ve got to you (have they?), so they will simply be encouraged.
