Is It Possible To Get Around Server Validation

Just curious, are there any ways to get around server verification of a game's cd-key. Games like counterstrike use this validation process, and without a valid cd key, you can't play online. Someone mentioned that a server browser named "the all seeing eye" can get around this?
Can someone please give some input?

A server browser doesn't get around it, it just finds servers that don't have this check. At least, as far as i know...

As for the regular check, no one's hacked it yet i beleive... and hopefully no one will. Or all the good servers would be overloaded...
