quick question: how often are mods chosen?!?!?!
cos it seems that the gap is not too big between mod to mod. for example: the last mod chosen were BOT and RPerry. only a month or so after balamm...
this means that by 2010 we wil have about 200 mods!!!!!!!!

There's been a big surge in members recently, plus we're trying to cover the West Pacific timezone.
This means we needed more mods.

AFAIK, moderators are evolved from key contribruting, trustworthy, considerate, and mature members (not in that order though
If they let in anyone who asked to be a moderator, the place would be f***ed by now
