I would say the PC you are using...
I downloaded a rip and it worked fine the first time I ever installed it.
And you wouldn't see much of a difference in terms of gameplay in VC, concept same, just diff missions, weapon add-on, vehicle increment.

The recommended specifications are 256MB of RAM. Don't download it from KaZaA, there is a high chance of it being corrupted, get it from Shareaza, eMule or buy it!

I was playing the ps2 version of VC. ANd i don't really like the controls of the cars on the ps3 controller. Plus, not a huge GTA3 fan in anyway. So, if I got the cash, I'll keep it for another game or item.

shut up and upgrade ur pc then see how show it works

and before downloading and playing u should have read the pc requirements

Make sure in GTA3 you click on options, and turn TRAILS off! That slows down the game like a bitch!

If it doesn't run right on your PC and you have to pay $300+ dollars to upgrade, get GTA 3 on PS2. PS2 owners have beat this game many times over (it's so old now) even though it's still good. I do realize that not everyone has a PS2 but for the PC upgrade costs.....................

i downloaded vice city and installed it(got off irc) and when i tried to run it all i got was a blank screen...now im trying to get the rip but can someone tell what can be wrong?

I used the crack that came on the 2nd ISO for VC and I get past the first cd check, but how do I get past the in game CD check? I've burned both .iso's onto a CD, put them both in, and it never works. I've tried 2 NoCD patches and they both only get me past the first cd check.

I get the message "Please insert your GTA Vice City CD, or press ESC to quit." and I can't get past it. Anyone know what I need to do? Thanks in advance!
