    This boogie man you speak of, isn't he the one that scares small children after bedtime? How does he get time to do that and use a computer? Only joking ! A new version of Peer Guardian is out (v.1.99) hopefully this will sort some of the old problems out. As for your question I'm going for #2, just because I'd like to see which IP's are being blocked. But I do agree with you a lot of IP's are named wrong. My advice is to just tread carefully and only empty your shared folder if you get a legal warning to do so.

    Thanks, although there has been contact made with meth who agreed he would make some changes to possibly aleviate this problem, and I believe this post DID make a difference along with the one I posted at the PG site.

    hey y'all there's been a lot of progress on removing bogus ips from the peerguardian database- we need peeps help as far reporting ranges that interfere with web browsing etc

    just make sure you're using the most recent pg list and there's details on how to get the most updated list when the db is up from 1-5 am gmt/ 8pm-12am est at the pg forum db discussion section

    couldnty the riaa or another similar thing report an "invalid" IP?
