an auto bot is itself a security risk as it's active/operational all the time, with most likely an insane amount of topsite details stored on it - be it a scener's home comp, or a group's ripbox [both of which have been targetted in the past]. Arguably, sys-ops of non rented sites may not have to worry about bandwidth costs

Oh, and just to make my comment: I don't think P2P will ever stop. The authorities don't even launch any attacks or raids on the existing forums, and new ones are created every day. I feel sad for saying I think P2P will last just as long as the scene... maybe even longer, 'cause some uploaders on P2P do their own shows and movies like aXXo.
