What I Hate About Music.

The thing is there's no definitive categorization.
Just because that guy got his published on MSN, there are probably 100 different
people with lists/articles, whatever, categorizing them as thrash, whiny-whiteboy-rap, pop, crap, Nu-whatever, etc.

It's not solvable. It's just music. It's just Linkin Park.
People that want to know what category it falls under usually aren't music fans anyway.
They only want to stay within their chosen genre. That's why it's so important to categorize it properly.

Fuck it. I'mma listen to Strauss, then The Beta Band, then The Geto Boys, then Merle Haggard.
Cause I like music. Whatever you wanna call it.

well i didn't make them up. i just did the research. i wouldn't say hip-hop is different from rap. i dont think people know the difference. eminem says he's hip-hop then he says he's a rapper. they refer to nelly as a rapper, but according to him "i'm tired of people judging what's real hip-hop, half the time be da nigga's who album drop".
