Thread: Cd-rw/hdd

    ok i was tryin to get another hdd to work and i plug it all in everything, then i noticed i left the cd burner unplug i reached in and tried to plug em back in and i pushed the 4-pin connecter on upside down and i saw a lil spark then my comp shut down, i let it sit a few and turnd bac on, now my cd burner lite in front stays a solid greenish/yellow and the hdd turns on but neither in "my computer"


    think i fried em?

    Is this Dejavu ?? didn't you post this a few months ago? Or was it someone with the exact same problem?

    well, anyway, try resetting your CMOS and reboot. It should redetect them if they aren't damaged. all that stuff is a lot tuffer than most people think.

    uhh nope, burner lite still on and hdd still on

    Hope you got a warranty. Just don't return them both at the same time. lie lie lie

    got it from a "friend" hehe, ahh it dont matter floppy disk is all i need
