    Hi

    Newbie here.

I wonder why some of the torrents got acronyms and are mentioned as acronyms, while some others do not?

    Tnx

Some torrent sites have asked that their full titles not be mentioned for security reasons; and although most people know their names, certain sites prefer to go by acronyms instead of the full name.

These sites are, but not limited to:
    FTN
    FSC
    FTWR
    SCC
    SCT
    E
    UK-T
    SCL
    ITS

Its the rules of the site, even though most know their names it is still important to respect the privacy of the trackers

I feel like quoting fight club here but TTi does have a name Torrents The international, others though mentioned here do not even like the acronym being mentioned and would prefer wheelmods or the rabbit if mentioned at all.

Its not all about elitism. Sites were referred to by acronyms long before any of the secret sites were around. It was just a quicker way of referring to a site.

Just know sites like to be called by their acronym versus full name, the end.
