No it's not, and they only count 75% of your download so just pick the right files and leave them seeding for as long as possible. Easy as.

Grab very popular files from TL, reseed at ScT for months, gives you the ability to d/l what you need from ScT then, without having to grab files you don't really need.

i don't have a seedbox and have a great ratio and buffer on sct. stop telling people you need seedboxes on this and that tracker. it's simply not true.

there's no tracker out there where you can not keep an excellent ratio without a seedbox.

i have 1mbit upload and have a higher buffer on some trackers than seedbox user i know.

seed as long as you can, have a little patience and you can survive with any pipe on sct.

i don't have seedbox but i can manage to at least 1:1,5 on every torrent that i download..also u have better chance to seed even more if u are fast enough to start downloading at same time when some torrent have been uploaded,also now ScT is even more active than before with new members

i dont have seedbox and seeding at sct isn't a problem. and i have only 1mb upload... just sit down, wait for some new torrent(dvd is good), download 1-2 rars and seed. so easy

I dont have a seedbox either, and only 80kb/s upload. Seeding is extremely easy on sct if you are not downloading like crazy. Start by only downloading parts of newer files, and see how your ratio does, based on that you can decide for yourself how much and what to download. No one can tell you what is best for you, just use your best judgment and you'll be fine.

lol only 80kb? that's alot, at least compared to me

The best of luck to you there, it is one of the best scene trackers for pretimes and has blistering fast speeds.
Get a seedbox!
If you have to go dl from tl to seed to sct. Whats the point! If you have TL you have a better tracker with more files thats easier to seedback. If you dl a topshow the moment it comes out, say simpsons or prison break. Seed it back for 1 week you will be lucky to it .5 ratio. If you don't have a really fast internet connection, money to p2l or access to a seedbox to buffer the account you shouldn't have never taken the invite bro.
