To those that say what or waffles offer the same content as oink you are sadly mistaken. If all you listen to is mainstream then sure that music is available on almost all music sites and most 0-day sites. With oink, there wasn't an album or artist I couldn't find. I am on both the w's but the type of music I want or looking for is usually hard to find, and would be grateful for the return of the pig. An ominous message is just a spark of hope, hopefully it comes to fruition.

This is a very important thing imo.
The monopoly of a dedicated tracker makes people go a bit crazy.
That's why Oink's staff acted like they did. If you didn't agree with every single thing they sad and if so much as "looked sideways"you'd be banned.
And they knew that users had to respect them because there wasn't anything else at the time.
Now with the two W's that changed
And even if one is a bit better then the other, it's still very good to have a choice or a place to go if things don't work out at one of the places.
