I chose My Father's Father's name for my confirmation. My Brother chose my Mother's Father's name.
I pretended it was a deep, meaningful family thing but it was really because you had to research the Saint. My Paternal Grandfather was Joseph, so a bit of an easy one there.
Coincidentally my own Father was a Joiner.
True story.
"there is nothing misogynistic about anything, stop trippin.
i type this way because im black and from nyc chill son "
What is the use of this thread when no one actually mentions what their real name is?
Anyways, my first name is Sonja and it's derived from Sophia, which is Greek for wisdom. My dad chose it and I think my mum just went along with it because it starts with an 's' ( both my sister's names start with an 's' as well)
My middle names are just my paternal grandparents' names. I don't have a confirmation name though. We don't hold with that nonsense in Belgian RC church
Everyone knows my name is Jim. From my Mother's Father also James.
I think I've made it reasonably clear my confirmation name is Joseph but I don't count that as part of my actual name.
And also I've made that disk for you but haven't had a chance to get it posted.
Sorry about that.
true, Jimbo, you were with the programme there
Cheers for the disc, there's no rush. Only just got back from a wee holidays today anyways
Scottish Highlands are fucking unbelievable
Got one from a boxer, and two others, middle names, I inherited, one of those has been in both sides of the family for centuries, and is tied to my last name, in a my last name = "son of [my middle name]" sort of way.
I bet your rl name is Sneessön-san, like.
As long as I've got a face
