You're not getting out of jury duty, might as well get that out of your head right now.
However, when called, it's very easy to get out of sitting on a particular jury.

You'll be asked a few questions, one of which will probably be along the lines of " Do you think you can sit on this jury without prejudiced toward one side or the other", or might want to out right volunteer this information, if you say you can not the result will be you not being picked for that trial.

Then again, I severed jury duty not to long ago and wasn't even picked out of the jury pool to be interviewed for a trail jury. I just showed up and sat in a court room for about an hour three or four times.

Yes, why would you want to get out of it?

What if you were the defendent?
How would you like your future to be in the hands of the stupid?

If you've ever skipped or intentionally voided out of jury duty, you've also lost the right to bitch about the justice system being broken since you just did your little part to cripple it.
If I'd been on OJ's jury he wouldn't be staging little robberies in casinos today...

Not to "jinx" myself, but I'm approaching 31 years of age and have yet to be summoned.

You could always go down to the county court house and volunteer!

When interviewed make sure you mention, "I can tell if people are guilty just by looking at them".
