If you bought a dedicated server, i think it's more convenient to install utorrent. Ubuntu is a debian based system, there's a good guide for it in ScT tutorials section (I'm assuming you have ScT from your sig). Let me know if you still need help.
if youve never used linux before, you have your work cut out.
you will need to install xorgs, gnome, vnc and then possibly wine for utorrent, java for azureus or use a linux client like rtorrent which will need compiling or some other native linux client.
Why would someone buy a seedbox on a OS they don't have a clue about ?
maybe he's a quick learner.
what i did was installed linux at home and used it for a few months before ordering a linux seedbox. having said that, my job is unix, although not linux, but getting to grips with linux has been easy for me.
Do you think ktorrent is a good client ?
Because i found some tutorials for rtorrent, but it seems verry hot ^^
ps : my box has only 256mo of RAM ... so I think rtorrent is the only way !

sorry, ive not used ktorent myself, but ive heard good things about it.
have you got a remote desktop working yet? that should be your priority. without that you have no GUI to work with and will only be able to use the command line. this is fine if you use a client like rtorrent, but i would recommend setting up vnc and getting access to a remote full working desktop.
I use ktorrent its very easy to use and has user friendly interface. Id suggest that as im bit of linux n00b also and this was my easiest option (utorrent always crashes under wine for me)
Theres plenty guides on the net, check out ubuntu forums as well they sooo helpful
I have NX, but ktorrent will work fine even if I have only 256 of ram ?
