rapidshare is going to be shutdown in the coming weeks if not days. You being a rs user you should know this and you are trying to get rid of it

well...its not that simple.Thats a little music company in Germany which accused Rapidshare of piracy and won a case against rapidshare.Now Rapidshare have to pay them too from their profits but it can't be shut down.This news cretaed hype because it was about some big company being rapidshare.you know how media make a news circulate around when its spicy.

RS is not gonna get shut down. The German courts say they have to check each file individually in order to to protect copyrights but it's really impossible to do that for obvious reasons (100s of terabytes, password protected rars, etc). Rapidshare will just move their entire business to the US where the Safe Harbor provision protects them from this kind of business-ending ruling.
