No sound from computer

I just started playing TF2 so I got a mic. Its a USB logitech mic that I think originally came from a PS2 game. It worked out for a mic for a while, but now I have no sound from the computer. From headphones or the mic I can't hear anything. I tried going to the website and updating the driver, but that didn't work, then I tried to use the CD that came with the computer to reinstall the old drivers. I still have no sound and I don't know what to do.

Check your sound devices. Control panel -> Sound. USB sound gizmo's sometimes change them when you plug it in.

You say it worked before. Do you get sound if you unplug the mic?
