The two blokés in the orange boots looked fantastic with the ball in hand, but.

I think the French scrum will be their undoing as far as the championship is concerned but their backs, as ever, look brilliant.

Btw, I think you lot will srummage us off the park next week if you get it right. The Scotch pack has looked really solid for a while and if training goes well this week and Haddin stops them going to the gym so much, it won't be much fun for our, relatively, light-weight pack.
I'm hoping our back-line will pulverise you, tho', in a high-scoring yet close game.

I think they'll spend the week on a Scotland Strip recognition course.

Mebbes they got confused against Les Blews what with them wearing Scotland strips and it'll be OK against the Puffins of Wales.

He prolly doesn't like English rugby union players anyhow.

Big lumps playing out wide against us often do. We have a history of putting dwarfed midgets on the wing, it's a pity that Nicky Waker isn't Welsh - I think he wanted to be too as, for some reason I can't fathom, the Scotch don't seem to like him.

He's the best wing playing in Wales atm.

I stopped watching after the first half, true story.

The result was the icing on a spectacularly shit weekend, tbh

On reflection I guess it was just one of those games. The first try was a howler by the ref and the second a howler by Parks (he will have nightmares about that clearance attempt) Other than those two incidents it was a cracking first half and the pack looked great when they shoved the French off the ball. Cheebus knows what they had to drink at half time because they were woeful in the second half. I think near the end when the French cleared the ball poorly and it was going to Webster's arms just outside the 22 with gaps in front of him he clearly lost the plot (and ball ) However, that was one of many elementary mistakes - missed line outs, dropped balls, poor decision making.

Wooden spoon sounds quite possible unless they play 80 minutes like the first half sans daft mistakes (from refs and players). Not sure how good the French are - as we gifted so many of their points. Next games will give a clearer picture.
