naw, we were waiting to turn right, there was a car in the middle of the road and we inched forward to see if anything was coming when this other guy came from the left and cut in our lane to squeeze between the gap
all a bit weird, as there was virtually no damage to either of the cars
Looking for loopholes
If there were no witnesses and not much damage it will almost certainly be a knock for knock and each will claim off their own insurance or pay for the work themselves to preserve their no claims if it is not protected. It may be that the old codger has just found how much it costs to get a colour coded bumper fixed and has thought sod that and has gone to the insurance company who will immediately try to pass the buck.
Did you alert your insurance company to forewarn them of a possible claim even if you intend to fix your car yourselves?
