I watched both Interstate 60 and The man from earth. The latter was a dialogue blast. The first one sucked hard. I can't believe I watched it to its end. Based on comments here, you'd think it was a philosophical wonder; it's not. To use an old cliche, I guess it's still all relative

Edit: Nothing too obscure, but if you're into Drama, I enjoyed both Fearless and The Door in the Floor.

Yeah everyone's heard of it and remember it.

This movie is not obscure in the least bit.

Try Videodrome in the "not very many people at all can remember this film let alone know what it is".

That movie has full porn in it too.

I have that on DVD (with the blue cover).

I think a lot of people have heard of this (if old enough).

Bob Guccione from Penthouse mag produced it if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, I heard the same thing. I also have Caligula on DVD actually

I bought it under the pretence that it supposedly was "the most controversial movie ever made"

    Plus, it was dirt cheap.

It's certainly enjoyable first time around, if nothing else.

    The Dead Girl (2006) http://imdb.com/title/tt0783238/

Really original in every way. Both the actors and the way it was filmed.

One of the best coming of age movies I've ever seen. Not a lot of fanfare for this one. Not sure why. Small budget perhaps.

Notable: Ben Foster, that villanous outlaw in "3:10 to Yuma" plays the lead character on this one. Even now, I'm still amazed these two characters are played by the same guy.

I ripped that movie ages ago and never watched it.

Perhaps I will this weekend per your recommendation.
