    It's not.

You are hereby appointed as my language filter.

I very much doubt our opinions would clash.

The Great Buck Howard (2008)- John Malkovich, Colin Hanks, Emily Blunt.

An unmoored and unhappy law school student (Hanks- yes, Tom's son), leaves school and drifts into the job of personal assistant to a washed up mentalist (Malkovich).

"Sweet" would be good adjective for this film.
All the characters get a chance to shine and even the peripheral folks are elevated above caricatures.
Malkovich, as usual, is wonderful to watch...I have to believe that Howard's trademark handshake was all his idea.

Also to it's credit, the movie resists the "feel-good" compulsion to completely tie up the ending and is more interesting because of this.

No explosions, robots or boobs, so most people probably won't like it.

    Dark City (1998)

Saw this gem yesterday, and I advise anyone who enjoys dystopian other-worldly adventures to get and watch this at your earlist convenience. A stellar cast comprised of Kiefer Sutherland, Jennifer Connelly, Rufus Sewell and William Hurt plows through an epic trip where buildings are created every night as soon as they're thought, and all sorts of craze takes place.
Very highly recommended to people who enjoy things like Matrix and whatnot.

The Education Of Charlie Brown (2007)

Overall, worth watching. Read my review here: http://imdb.com/title/tt0783515/usercomments-7
7/20 EVEN THOUGH it was directed by Durst. Yep, I've said it.

    Ivan Groznyy I and II

The shadows in this would-be trilogy alone are worth the watch.
