Kenny is a very funny Australian mockumentary.

Also want to say this is one of the best threads I have seen in a long time.

omg. all these "this movie is not undergroundish enough. your argument is invalid" posts while everyone seems to consider oldboy and primer being movies no one has ever heard of...

however, some suggestions which i am quite sure are way too mainstream for you art-loving guys:

adaptation: well known since its a cohen-movie
alice in wonderland (1976): well known cos yeah, im talking bout the porn
save the green planet: well known cos its asian
underground: well known cos its by kusturica with an OST composed by bregovic
taxidermia: well known since it has loads of great pictures
im juli: well known cos its a german comedy starring m. bleibtreu
thx1138: well known since its directed by geroge lucas
man with the movie camera: well known since its directed by vertov and has a soundtrack by the cinematic orchestra
sympathy for lady vengeance: well known since everyone knows the revenge-trilogy cos everyone knows oldboy
office space: well known since...well. dunno
wer früher stirbt ist länger tot: well known since its a hillarious bavarian comedy

    ...

    Observations :

Who the hell said Oldboy or Primer weren't well known?
I hate most art films because they are made by/for pretentious twats( and a lot of foreign films too because needless to say they are made for/by foreigners*) .
Office Space is well known because it is the only genuinely funny thing that Jennifer Aniston has ever done.
Adaptation is a Spike Jonze movie (or actually more rightly a Kaufman movie so at least there are brothers involved) and it's Coen.
I've finally, happily encountered someone whose speelling and punctuation are even worse than mine.

And anything Bavarian is a comedy even though most are unintentional.

    * I think that's called absurdest humour or maybe just blatantly unfunny I can never quite distinguish between the two.
