my dad has on old Gateway 2000 (he said it was the fastest at the time )

2mb ram
mother board (Really Big and heavy)
graphics card.. i think it was like 8mb or something..
gateway keyboard and ball mouse (all the same)
15" moniter that's twice as heavy as my 17" i think
2gb hd (2gb was actually huge because everyone played windows 3.1/Dos games)
O/S: Windows 3.1 at first.. then much later Windows 95 came out.. he put that on it... He still used it in 1998 also and Windows 98 came out.. so what the hell, we upgraded it to Windows 98 (OMG IT RAN SO SLOW
Oh yea, when it was time to get a newer computer.. gateway was out of mind hehe. Went with a 1.0ghz amd thunderbird (built a custom computer for a total of $700 i think).. still runs pretty fast as of today's standards.
The scary part is all our 1.0ghz, 2.0ghz, 3.0ghz, etc are gonna become outdated someday as well...
pentium 166 oc'ed to 200, 128 megs 72 pin ram, 16x burner, win 2000 pro, 30 gig HD, 4 megs shared video, 14" packard bell monitor, soundblaster 16 plugged into an old pioneer amp by way of a crappy subwoofer, speakers on monitor plus two ross monitors. 1400 of the best songs you ever didn't hear.
