search on goole for zmatrix the fist result is the zmtrix sofware

zmatrix is an animated wallpaper which as the matrix code emulated on the desktop so the desktop is animated

Only if your pc isnt fast enough to handle it. If thats the case then I wouldnt recommend using it. It doesnt use up that much memory, but it just makes more sense that if your pc isnt that fast then you should spend your ram on more important programs than this cool looking animated desktop app.
