    the mouse works with XP, but not with Vista!
    I've downloaded and installed the newest intellimouse driver for vista and it still doesn't work...
    I have a Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse, this is driving me crazy, stupid how a Microsoft product doesn't work with Vista...

    I wonder if it's your usb drivers that need updating, since you updated your mouse driver and it's still not working.

    it is 32bit
    when I plug in the mouse, it does recognize it, but just doesn't seem to find the driver for it even though I installed them already
    how do you update the usb driver? that might do it
