Also as skewed as this board often appears to people I don't think that many intelligent , non-self important posts are met with any derision .
I think that people that find fights here generally come looking for it, whether they are aware of that fact or not.

No malice but like I said the unnecessary inclusion of "back on topic" is sort of a backhanded swipe at the previous posters .
That added to the fact ( mostly the fact) that th0r has a long history of looking down his nose at people.Anyone apparently doing that sets me off more than is healthy.
