I got an e-mail from them as well, and that is enough to make me not sign up for the site. No torrent site should be advertising like a common newsletter or message board.

I got one of those emails too. The email went out to people who registered at a site called InviteShare.

Very true. They ran one site into the ground with constant threats and ddosing, and also stole the DB for users's IP addresses and emails (not sure the reason why). They also stole the site code.

Also, they were responsible for the recent ddosing of TL.
