    NAS maybe..Wu Tang Clan is probably the most "hardcore" of the "well knowns" in my opinion. David Banner is pretty hardcore IMO and Chingy is allright too...to name some popular ones.


    Notorious B.I.G., Scarface, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Ice-T. NWA, and KRS 1 aren&#39;t as popular these days as they used to be but they are all definiteley hardcore in my book.

    What do you mean by hardcore anyway.. someone who puts on a front to pretend to be hardcore (50 Cent) or someone who really is (NWA, Public Enemy). I think hardcore doesnt mean getting shot 9 times, it means rapping about shit besides bitches and drugs, and thats what the quality rappers do.

    50 cent may have been shot 9 times, may have been a drug dealer, whatever, but in comparison to some of the rappers listed here, he&#39;s as bubblegum as Ja Rule...
