I'm new to the site after searching google for some help with this frustrating puzzle.

Any help would be much appreciated before I go crazy!

The clue is in the numbers in the source. If you replace full stops with line breaks, this might be clearer

I wish I knew what these #'s correlated with? The letters of the alphabet? The letters of these words? hint without the actual answer would be good.
