I dont think it would have been a "need". I remember talking about things like this in psychology and it is more to do with geniune child curiosity (sp? come one, its 3am&#33 and naivety.

Now, before making judgements like those. I intern at a summer camp, working with three year olds. The boys look like they have pen caps for dingdongs.
It&#39;s sort of a long-running joke at camp...
So if one did manage to penetrate, I doubt it would do much.
