Thanks for the help here people, but when I try to setup vsftpd and putting rsa_cert_file=/root/vsftpd.pem in the config and then try to start the program I get error and it says it cannot load the rsa certificate. And the .pem file is there I've checked.

    Help please?
What an ordinary day, the extraordinary way.

Almost everyone in this thread use fedora 6. So go with that.

PS : you guys are really helping me out, thanks
From your df output, sda1 is maxed out, this might prevent utorrent from working (saving torrent files). Check /root/.local/share/Trash, your deleted files might went there when you delete them.

Make sure you change gui.delete_to_trash to False in uTorrent Advanced Preferences.

Did you generate this cert? Only reason I can think of... Try again:

    # openssl req -x509 -nodes -days 365 -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout /root/vsftpd.pem -out /root/vsftpd.pem

My experience messing with uTorrent on the kimsufi, don't change the Disk Cache setting, leave it at default. Forcing higher cache at 150MB seems to screw things up when uTorrent uses up all the memory. Don't have too many active downloads. If you get disk overloaded warnings, limit the download rate to around 5MB/s.

I'm getting disk overloaded many times too. It would be good to have a 1GB Ram box

I don't come close to the upload speeds you guys say you get. I can't seem to connect to half as many peers as I should.

My guide is up for those needing help. It's incomplete, but most of the important stuff is there.
