Hide my ip address

Is there a program that i can use to hide my ip address just when i want it to, and turn off when i am finished that dont change anything at all. I only want to turn it on for a hour or so, every now and then. I have dial-up (no dial up jokes i have heard them all) if it makes any difference at all.

Let me get this straight. You are trying to hide your ip on your local network? I don't see how this would be possible.
