    you ever heard of the german leon with 490bhp?
    there&#39;s a video of it doing 190 mph on the autobahn, which is pretty impressive

    however, it was 5 up at the time...

    Anyway back on topic......
    With cars nowdays it&#39;s always best to look a bit further down the line in terms of costs-servicing being a big one.
    For example an Astra 16 valve will need it&#39;s cambelt changed about every 40,000 miles, so if you do high mileage it may cost ya.
    Best way to find out about the servicing intervals on a car is to go to a main dealer and speak to their sevice department (sales will fob you off with bs to try and sell you a motor.)
