    Both, I'll try again tomorrow.
Leaving FST for awhile. Will be active on 1 or 2 private trackers and will still use a seedbox. Thanks to all the members who helped me along the way.

Make sure you change the listening port number of your FTP client to the same one as you selected on your server, that is the major error.

When I try to connect to the FileZilla server on my seedbox it says 'Error - connection to the server lost.' Then it keeps on trying to reconnect. For the Filezilla client on my Mac I get the messege 'Could not connect to server.' I made sure the ports for both the FTP Server and FTP Client are the same.

Did you set a home directory for that user you created?

I don't think I remember doing that. Can you explain to me how to do that?

    Open up FLZ server interface
Click on the single user icon
    Click on the shared folders
    Click Add
Navigate to your torrents drive (D?)
    Click ok
Tick all the boxes under files & directories
    Tick Set as Home Dir
    Click ok bottom left

    try connecting

Might take a close down & restart of the FLZ server to get it going

It seems I can't even open up the user interface. I'll post screenshots of what's happening on my server and my Mac if that's ok with you. Edit - I'll uninstall all of them and start again from scratch. Re-reading over this is helping me a little bit.

Posting Mac SS won't help me

The same way you add a user is the same way you add the home dir, you can always do the edit users from the menu.

OK, a friend suggested that I download serve-u. I downloaded it onto my server and everything ran smoothly. Then I downloaded Cyberduck for my Mac, got connected and I successfully transfered a file! Now I just need to get a uTorrent WebUI to work on my Mac.

    I thought Mac has FF?
