so, i took a windows xp cd key from a computer at my highschool with the Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder. i felt safe in doing this because that computer would never be hooked up to the internet.

i was wondering, if i took a cd key from a computer at my college, where they are hooked up to the internet: would the key work on another computer, and would it be ok? would i get a message saying the key is in use by another computer and not be able to download updates?
