I don't know, I'm new to this sort of stuff, I heard it was a great tracker, and everyone is always talking about it, no matter what people say about levels not mattering, its ahrd to ignore them when people talk so much about them IM sorry for not being as well informed, but ca someone tell me whats so great about it then?

Most, if not all, of the hype that you'll hear from this place about FTN is related to the level (rarity of getting an invite) that FTN has. Levels matter the most to traders, so if you're not a trader, then you have nothing to worry about. That being said, I can see the appeal of wanting a no-ratio (your ratio "doesn't matter") tracker.

Why join FTN if iTN, GFT, and numerous other trackers are ratioless and allegedly offer the same thing in terms of content? I seriously wanted to join FTN way back when ('round 2007), but with all the new ratioless trackers popping up it seems like a pointless effort. Sure, I made a silly request thread not too long ago but I didn't expect to be invited from it... nor was I. I can understand if someone has numerous friends on said tracker though.

respawn40 said what I was going to say in that levels matter the most to traders. When I started with bittorrent and learned about private trackers the sites I wanted to join the most were demonoid, oink (

), kraytracker, and UG. Clearly not considered "high level" by those that trade. Before being exposed to sites like FST those are all I knew of or cared about.
I remember joining this forum and reading about all these exclusive and elusive trackers and wanted to join them just because people were talking about them like they were deities.

It's pretty easy for a newbie to get ambitious around here.

I looked through the reviews there, and did a quick search for stuff on this site and all i see is people giving out about how overrated the site is, so whats the point? is it relaly just levels for traders to swap rare trackers? and I didn't even know no-ratio trackers existed..... they sound good. Id like a no-ratio movie tracker actually. How does that work then, is it just people who like seeding leave stuff seeding?
