Using Windows 9x (includes ME), there's really not much you could do. I would say that your best bet would be
to make them an archive, lika a .zip or a .rar, and password protect that file.
You wouldn't be able to share them though, except for one as big file...
    Maybe it'll catch on....
"Bundle your porn! Hide it from your family! Share it with friends! It's the new way, like the Cotton Gin!"

You could also always go for some online file-storage. But most have fees if you want to keep a substantial
amount..."substantial" being over 5MB in some cases. So with videos, it's probably not a good option.

    I dunno ME sucks anyway
u running winME? if it xp you can convert drive from fat to ntfs without losing files etc its painless.

To convert a volume to NTFS from the command prompt
    Open Command Prompt.
In the command prompt window, type
    convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs

For example, typing convert C: /fs:ntfs would format drive C: with the ntfs format.

To open command prompt, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Command Prompt.
You can convert FAT or FAT32 volumes to NTFS with this command.

remember to type it exactly ie spaces where they should be etc
What is the difference in NTFS and FAT32?

ntfs is just a more stable and secure platform, it utilises the disc space much more efficiently than fat32 drives and you can encrypt data, and compress with an ntfs drive. its the recommended platform for any hardrive over 30gb and equally fine for much smaller drives. and i wouldnt use anything else unless i had to

the option to convert is when you have installed/upgraded xp over a fat32 drive, you convert it after install. you dont lose files and it doesnt take long and quite safe tho it will warn you to back up but i must have done this 30x or more and never had any issues. if you worried just backup any important files to cd. once drive is converted it cannot be converted back to fat/fat32 but why you would want to i dont know! hope this helps

Go to your explorer, create a new folder called My Stuff or whatever, drag all your files into it. Right Click the folder, and click the Hidden property. Assuming you don't have have the option to show Hidden folders (in your Explorer tools --> Folder options --> View Tab), they won't see the folder. Activate that option whenever you wanna access your goodies. More Paranoid? Try renaming the files to smaller words, but so you know what they are. Also, if you deactivate hide known file extentions (Tools --> Folder options -- View Tab) you can manually change the extention on the file. So instead of having 2 Cheerleaders and football player in locker room.avi sitting out in the open, you'd have 2Cheers.dat, or .cam, or .anythign so either way if somehow your parents navigate to your goodies they'd double click a file and get an error. Hide them, rename them, change em

Various XP tweaking softwares will also allow you password protect the contents of specified folders from other users. However this may not work properly with accounts other than the administrators user group.

Also, turn off the indexing service in folder properties for added security.
