How Many Mp3z U Got?

mpeg layer 3 format has been around for a while now, and ppl have been accumulating music on their networks scince the macarina was hot.

I would like to know (for interests sake) how many mp3 files ppl have got on their pc / network.

For me, I have at this moment 2154 files on my server, and a backup ghost of them on my laptop. Most of them are ripped from the cd library at the radio station where I work. (Must be best place - next to working at the record company - to get hold of new music....)

I harely download music anymore and when I did I have over 200 mp3's and lost them all on a reformat.

I have about 25 or so now..

must have taken a while to collect that!

BTW, I am proud to announce that within the next few months I will be connecting the online database computers of the radio station to the leased line internet connection (roughly 1mb /s), the cd libraries server will be equiped with a hidden copy kazaa lite... their are roughly 30000+ songs on the 3 computer network database.

i have about 50 gigs worth and over 6000 songs.

it takes a while to collect on 56k, i can tell you...

Man.....you all talk about haveing 3000 to 4000 MP3s.Come to where the big Boys hang out.....try 3000 - 4000 Albums.....not singles.

And I am one of the small fish.

when it takes me less than 20 minutes to download a song and i have a little more hard drive space, i'll have a lot more music
