How do you convert video files that are downloaded, and no file extension. They are just numbered files. Sometimes there is a small icon with the winrar symbol, but it is not really an rar file. Help

if the files are "filename.avi.001" and etc. then a file joining program should be able to join them back to one big avi file

if the filename is just "001" then it may not even be a video file

you could use simple file joiner http://www.peretek.com/sfj.php and then rename to .avi or .mpeg and see if it plays

It's either rar files, you can rightclick any of them and open with winRAR
or, it's splitted video, you download this
    http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/
run the program, go to that folder and open teh 001, it will find all the rest (if they are in same folder) and put them back together.
