Read his posts and then read my post, and please tell me with a straight face he has done nothing wrong here and doesn't deserve it.

He has done nothing wrong in the eyes of FST, and neither you, nor I, are staff here and have no power to tell anyone or to do anything about it, so - I can look you in the eye with a straight face and honestly say he (I presume) has done nothing wrong.

You may not like it, and it would have been best to have been totally left ignored, and certain people should really know better and not posted, but the topic is a legit topic for discussion.

But one last thing, once he leaked the PtN links how could the staff there or anyone who supports them not have responded. They we're just trying to defend PtN. I will admit that maybe they, and I, haven't handled things that well but sometimes it's hard to contain your emotions.

Here's something for those of you that don't read hebrew, loneranger has already called someone a faggot in this thread and That is against the rules isn't it? I don't think that you should encourage that kind of activity. That IS one of the reasons that english is the language of choice on this forum right?

I think that all of this flaming and such has gotten out of hand because some folks have gotten upset that they weren't let in on the "secret". PtN has not, is not, and will not be open for signups because they obviously don't want every tom dick and harry tracker collector to join up and not do anything. Is that so wrong of them? They are trying to have a decent friendly non-needy userbase and I can't say as I blame them. I think this thread and a couple others are a demonstration of why this approach is neccessary in the wonderful world of private trackers.

Look, noone here is terribly stupid so we know PtN is there and that's just fine. If you think it's junk thats fine but why go out of your way to bash a site you know nothing about except that they want to attract good users and have bad users or users that don't fit the demographic they are looking for, show themselves for what they are. Seems fairly smart to me. If you want a car, and you want to know for sure that you are spending your money well, you take it for a test drive. Why can't people that are taking risks and putting their money into a project do the same thing? Again it seems pretty smart to me.

FYI none of the PtN threads started here were started by PtN members so you cant really claim that they are trying to puff up the rep of their trackers cuz that just doesn't follow. The posting of urls of trackers that have made it known that they dont want their url posted is rude for one, and what makes FTN or iTS or scl any different than any other tracker that doesn't want their url posted? C'mon people lets see some sort of respect for the community as a whole.

I have been following these threads because it is a very dramatic example of why care should be taken by trackers in how much gets out because people like LoneRanger get a little jilted and go off the deep end over 1's and 0's.
