    I love it that his rebellious statement includes his pal's dad doing the taxi driving.

    In other news, great call on the plausible deniability.

    When number two son announced rather dramatically that he was getting his ear-pierced, obviously expecting a reaction, my reply was along the lines of "Fair do's, mate. It's your lug. Just make sure it's somewhere with good hygiene."

    "Notes from a Small Island" I didn't find it funny at all. He sounded like such a whinger throughout the whole book. I haven't bothered with him since then. There are funnier writers out there, Pete McCarthy for example.

    I did warn you that it was an appalling B movie

    Possibly in the so bad it is good category. Apparently the directors cut is best because he re-instated more bewbage.
